RESERVATIONs
On April 2, 2021 the state released an updated version of the Blueprint for a Safe Economy, indicating that guidelines for events and gatherings are changing.
MU Tables
The Center for Student and Memorial Union Staff are dedicated to keeping the members of registered student organizations and their families are safe and healthy. The guidance from the California Department of Public Health State indicates that “all gatherings should be postponed or cancelled.” Gatherings are defined as “meetings or other events that bring together persons from multiple households at the same time for a shared or group experience in a single room, space, or place such as an auditorium, stadium, arena, large conference room, meeting hall, or other indoor or outdoor space.” They pose an especially high danger of transmission and spread of COVID-19. This being said, in order to keep the community healthy, the Memorial Union tables will not be reservable for the fall quarter of 2020.

Event & Meeting reservations
For the time being, no reservations will be accepted for Spring quarter 2021. The Center for student involvement will update primary leaders of each organization with information about reservation requests for the remainder of the school year. Please understand that these restrictions are fluid in nature and based on the guidelines from local, state, and federal government concerning COVID19.

action items for sfl facilities
We all share a high degree of concern for the safety of fraternity and sorority members planning to live in the facilities (including house-corporation-owned, rented or on-campus Greek facilities) for the coming fall quarter. To that end, we are requesting that each organization that has an official lettered Greek facility and its house corporation advisors develop a Facility Readiness Plan (FRP) plan and file a copy of the plan with the Center for Student Involvement, as a condition of your registration for the 2020-21 academic year.
