The Beta Chapter of Epsilon Alpha Sigma is the first Arab sorority to be established at the University of California, Davis. Their mission is to educate the community about the ongoing conflicts in the Arab World and its vast effects as Arab-American women living in the United States. They strive to empower women within the Arab World and contradict the misconceptions of oppression. EAS seeks to break down the cultural barriers and stigma against Arabs within the sisterhood and amongst the immediate community.
