The RSO Leadership and Development Certificate requires one time attendance to the following workshops:
1) RSO Leadership Basics
2) Risk Resources 101
3) Conflict Management to Transformation
Upon completing the workshops, a CSI staff member will notify you to submit a short reflection in order to receive the certificate.

A leadership workshop designed for all RSO leaders. If you are an executive board leader, leader of a committee, or a prospective leader, CSI highly recommends this training.

Risk Resources 101
From traveling to hosting on-campus events. Come learn how to best prepare for possible situations your organization may encounter during events and how to avoid potential risks that can occur.

Conflict Management to Transformation
Conflict between individuals is inevitable, but how you overcome conflict can be overwhelming. CSI is here to help your organization run smoothly and manage disagreements. We will look at different management styles and how you can use conflict to transform your organization and leadership. Learn the steps to take so that both individual’s or group’s needs are met.

Q: If I attend the workshop, do I have to do the certificate?
A: No, it is just an automatic opt in to track participation. If you decide later in the year you would like the certificate we will already have you on record.
Q: How do I obtain the certificate?
A: Attend one of each of the following workshops:
1)RSO Leadership Basics
2)Organizational Development
3)Conflict Management to Transformation
Upon completion of the three workshops, a CSI staff member will prompt you to turn in an experience reflection form on AggieLife. You will then be awarded the certificate
Q: How long does it take to obtain the certificate?
A: It is possible to obtain the certificate within a quarter. Individuals have the whole academic year to receive the certificate.
