Davis Women in Business empowers young women to become successful leaders in the world of business. Through DWIB, members find their career direction, develop their professional networks, and set and achieve ambitious career goals.
They do this by engaging with our members around three core values: Friendship, Empowerment, and Diversity. They aim to create a network that empowers women to become leaders and challenges them to bring their voices and ideas to the table.

Plans for this year
To equip members with professional and personal skills to help them achieve success in their futures, and to ultimately do our part to shift the perspective of women in business to a positive, empowering image. Women in business are severely underrepresented, especially in management and leadership positions, and so through Davis Women in Business they want to change the stakes and allow women to achieve success in all their endeavors.
At Davis Women in Business, we focus on helping their members get to the next level through a tight-knit community of motivated, like-minded individuals and high quality professional development opportunities. They provide a supportive community for their members to gain personal confidence, strong business acumen, leadership experience, and a close network. Throughout the year, their members with are equipped tools, knowledge, and skills needed to be a successful leader in the world of business. They then further their knowledge of the business world by directly connecting them with companies, such as Google and State Street.
Collaborations with Davis Accounting Society, Economics Club, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, and other related business club partnerships have been forged. Davis Women in Business is also looking to collaborate with philanthropy and political organizations in the near future.
