 What are you involved in?

I am a sister of Sigma Pi Alpha Sorority, Inc. a Chicana/Latina-based but not exclusive sorority that strives to empower women from all cultures through our pillars of community service, campus involvement, and sisterhood. I am also a part of the Hispanic Serving Institution Initiative Undergraduate Advisory Board here at UC Davis and volunteer at the Center for Chicanx and Latinx Academic Student Success!

What is your advice for students looking to get involved?

My advice for students looking to get involved would be to allow themselves to see all the options of student organizations offered on campus to find the student organization that offers what they are looking for. I would also advise students to attend events offered to get more informed on the student organizations they are interested in getting involved in.

What is your advice for students looking to get involved?

For students looking to get involved, I would strongly recommend looking at bulletin boards around school, or walking by the MU and speaking with the campus organizations who are tabling.

What is your advice for students looking to get involved?

Look into organizations that make you feel welcome. Seek new experiences, go out of your comfort zone, and find opportunities to grow as an individual.
