  2. Manage Your Org

Leading a Registered Student Organization is a critical role. As one of the three primary leaders on file with the Center for Student Involvement, you will be responsible for representing your organization in campus business and communication and ensuring you uphold all the responsibilities required of student organizations to remain recognized. This means you will need to stay on top of email communications from the Center for Student Involvement and other campus departments, keep track of important deadlines and be familiar with the policies and procedures related to your organization’s goals.

In this section, we will:

  • Outline the requirements you will need to meet and maintain your status as an RSO.
  • Review the privileges, services and tools available through the Center for Student Involvement to help your organization achieve its goals.
  • Highlight important policies you must comply with as an RSO.

Whether you are assuming leadership of a pre-existing organization or starting your own, you will have the opportunity to develop transferable professional skills as a leader. The Center for Student Involvement is here to support you in navigating campus business and RSO operations.
